Contemporary White Shaker Kitchen in Chorleywood

A clean, sharp design that feels classic and modern.

A Modern Take on the Traditional Shaker

This kitchen project in Chorleywood is a contemporary take on the traditional shaker style. It was designed to extend the kitchen to provide a larger family space for cooking and dining together. Food is the centre of this family’s needs, with two excellent chefs in the family.

  • The ample kitchen space will allow the family to create new restaurant menu items. It also includes a breakfast bar for a more intimate, relaxed family time when desired.

The contemporary design features Schuller cabinets in Magnolia silk gloss with Casa shaker-style doors while the solid surface worktops from HI-MACS in colour Venus. The breakfast bar is made from SPEKVA solid wood in Prima Oak, adding just the right amount of warmth to the space.

The appliances are from Neff, the sink from The 1810 company, and the taps from Clearwater. A glass cream splashback that matches the cabinets for a seamless look completes the look.
