Sleek Modern Dark Kitchen in Gerrards Cross

A sleek kitchen for a modern lifestyle.

A Striking Monochrome Kitchen

Sleek, modern, and dark — this kitchen project in Gerrards Cross is a striking monochrome kitchen that provides an impactful update to a large townhouse with a mock-Tudor interior.

  • The client wanted to open up the living space with an extension, so we added plenty of storage space and elegant contemporary furnishings. The kitchen is a focal point of the house, so we decided to make it as dramatic as possible.

We mostly used Next 125 cabinetry in Tobacco Knotty Oak which creates an impressive contrast against the home's white interiors. For the sink area, we used white wall units matched with a Corian framed sink in Glacier White and Corian worktops in Antarctica to create a clean, contemporary look. To complete the cabinetry, we used brass Buster and Punch handles that match the pendant lights above the island.

The kitchen also features a range of sleek, modern appliances, including a Neff oven, a Siemens hob, a Miele dishwasher, an Air Uno extractor, and a Quooker hot tap. The result is a clean, minimalist kitchen that is functional and practical but stylish enough to be the home's centrepiece.
