A Classic Kitchen with a Rustic Feel
The goal was to modernise the existing kitchen in an old barn conversion in Essex, but with no room for expansion, we had to maximise the available space. This resulted in a gorgeous country-style kitchen that is the heart of the home.

We had plenty of ideas to make this a glamorous kitchen that would still feel calming and inviting. We went with a rustic design that is both timeless and elegant by retaining most of the wooden and brick structures.
The cabinetry from Mereway's Town & Country shaker-style range provides plenty of storage whilst maintaining a sleek yet classic look. The neutral colour palette consisting of Pale Grey and Graphite Grey helps to create a light and airy feel. The stainless steel handlebars add a touch of modernity, while the HI-MACS Edessa worktops give the space its minimalist elegance.
The appliances from Siemens combined with the Blanco sink and Quooker Hot taps add functionality to the room while adding to its modern look. The result is a modern version of a country-style kitchen with plenty of warmth and charm to create a space that feels classic and contemporary at the same time.
